1. Deposits & Payment

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold any goat unless otherwise stated in writing. Deposits may be made via PayPal or other approved payment methods. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to pickup or transport. Failure to complete payment by the agreed-upon date may result in forfeiture of the deposit and the animal being relisted for sale.

 

2. Health & Genetic Guarantee

All goats are healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time they leave our farm. Refunds or replacements will only be considered if a licensed veterinarian provides written documentation stating the health issue is the result of a genetic defect or was contracted while the goat was on our farm. Health concerns must be reported within 30 days of pickup. No guarantees are made regarding future size, fertility, show performance, or breeding outcomes.

 

3. Pickup & Boarding

Goats must be picked up within 14 days of sale unless prior arrangements are made. A boarding fee of $50 will apply for delayed pickup beyond 14 days. If a goat is not picked up within 30 days of the agreed pickup date and no boarding arrangements are maintained, the goat may be relisted for sale with no refund of payments made.

 

4. Risk of Loss

Once the goat leaves our farm or is loaded for transport, all risk transfers to the buyer. Koch Family Fainters is not responsible for injury, illness, or death after pickup or delivery.

 

5. Transport

Buyers are responsible for arranging transport unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Koch Family Fainters is not liable for any issues arising during third-party transportation.

 

6. Merchandise Sales

Farm-branded merchandise including hats, t-shirts, and sweatshirts is non-refundable except in cases of product defect. Defective merchandise must be reported within 7 days of receipt. Merchandise orders are typically fulfilled within 14 days of purchase. Local pickup is available and shipping prices will be listed on the sale page.

 

7. No Returns or Exchanges

All livestock sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted outside of the health conditions outlined in this policy.

 

8. Right to Refuse Sale

Koch Family Fainters reserves the right to refuse a sale at our discretion if we believe it is not in the best interest of the animal.

 

9. Agreement

By submitting a deposit or completing a purchase, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to this Sales Policy in full.
